Calculating total percentage for Egyptian universities

To calculate your total percentage for Egyptian universities, follow these steps:

1. Choose the Type of University:
Determine whether the university is private or public.

2. GPA Calculation:
– Select 8 subjects from grades 11 and 12.
– Each subject carries one credit.
– Mandatory subjects: English, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Math.
– Choose 3 additional subjects.
– Combine marks for all subjects (each out of 100) to get a total of 800.
– Divide the total by 20 to obtain a final score out of 40.

3. Scholastic Test ( SAT 1 or ACT 1 or est1):
– For public universities:
– Divide your score by 1600.
– Multiply the result by 0.69.
– For private universities:
– Divide your score by 1600.
– Multiply the result by 0.75.

4. Subject Test (ACT 2 or est 2):
– For both public and private universities:
– Divide your score by 1600.
– Multiply the result by 0.15.

5. Calculate Total Percentage:
– For public universities: Total Percentage = GPA + (Scholastic Test × 0.69) + (Subject Test × 0.15)
– For private universities: Total Percentage = GPA + (Scholastic Test × 0.75) + (Subject Test × 0.15)

Note: The total percentage is 124% for public universities and 130% for private universities.
